VOYCE helps to ensure a quality life for people living on the long-term care continuum. Our goal is to become the principal source of information and advocacy for these individuals and their families.

We have been providing supportive services in St. Louis, St. Charles, Franklin and Jefferson counties since 1973. Adults 60 and older count on Aging Ahead to provide nutritious meals, connection to resources and supportive services.

National crisis line serving people who are in emotional distress, including those considering suicide.  This is a free, 24 hour, seven days a week service that can be accessed via phone text or chat.

When people call, text, or chat with the 988 Lifeline, they are connected to trained crisis counselors who are part of the existing 988 Lifeline network, made up of over 200 local crisis centers. These crisis counselors are trained to provide free and confidential emotional support and crisis counseling to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress and connect them to resources. These services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, across the United States.

We provide detailed information on Assisted Living and other senior care options, to help you in your important decision. At ECDOL, we understand that this decision can be challenging, so we do our best to make things easier. We have a nationwide directory of Assisted Living Facilities and senior care, so you can search for options anywhere in the United States and in Canada. To complement this directory, our website provides general information, frequently asked questions (FAQs), tips, and insightful articles. ECDOL has added important information about Fentanyl to their website.  It includes an understanding of Fentanyl, the threat it poses and how to have conversations with adult children and grandchildren.

Stories of fentanyl have populated news outlets nationwide for years, but many individuals still are unclear about precisely what it is and why it is so dangerous. At ECDOL, they aim to inform aging adults about issues that may affect them or their loved ones. To help, they created a guide that explains in detail what fentanyl is, why it is so dangerous, and how individuals can talk to their loved ones about it.

With more than 200 residential centers within the US and Canada, Adult & Teen Challenge (ATC) is a faith-based non-profit headquartered in Ozark, Missouri. Its mission is to provide adults & teens freedom from addiction and other life-controlling issues through Christ-centered solutions. Through effective discipleship, mentoring, and life-skills training, ATC and its affiliates have seen positive outcomes and radical life-transformation throughout its sixty-year history.

The Four Rivers Area YMCA Adult Literacy & ELL program provides supportive and enriching educational experiences to nurture the potential of everyone in our community, especially those who struggle with reading, writing, and English language skills. Students meet weekly with their tutors at a local library.

This program is provided at no cost to adults struggling with English language or reading skills.  You do not have to be a Y member to participate.

Programs: Food Pantry — access only to those who live in the Meramec Valley R-3 School District

Financial Assistance for utility bills, rent or unexpected emergencies, Resale Shop– available to anyone who lives in Franklin County. Must have eviction or disconnect notice.

We give out perishable items on Monday 12-2 and Friday 1-3.

Anyone from Franklin county can come both days if needed.   No info needed.

We have regular food pantry EVERY Thursday 11-1:30.

Franklin county residents may come twice a month for that.

The first time they come in on Thursday the must qualify.  1.  ID for everyone over 18.  2. Proof of social security numbers for all household members. 3. Proof of address.  4.  Proof of income or lack of income for everyone over 18.  On Thursday they will get to select from perishable items, along with canned and dry goods as available.
