Mobile Integrated Health Systems (MIH)

The Eastern Missouri MIH Network is a local “systems of care” approach on whole person care.  The service delivery model in Eastern Missouri capitalizes on the local partnership of Union, Meramec, St. Clair, Washington, Gerald and Lincoln County Ambulance Districts, along with health care providers including Compass Health Network, Mercy Hospital Washington and Lincoln.

MIH removes the barrier so many face in our community: access to care.  The program brings health care to the consumer in their home.

Vaccinations

Substance Use Disorder Treatment

Hospice Support

Rural Parish Mobile Clinic

Free mobile clinic with services for uninsured adults age 19-64.  Household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level. (Example: Family of four total annual household income maximum: $51,500)

  • Preventative care (Annual physicals for men and women)
  • Chronic diseases (Heart, pulmonary, diabetes, thyroid)

Hours:

The medical clinic opens at 9:00 a.m. on Thursdays at the Franklin County locations. It is closed some holidays and the week between Christmas and New Years Day.

A non-profit company that recycles unused diabetic supplies from people that have extras and offer them at discounted prices to those without insurance. Membership is free and with each purchase members of the Test Strip Buying Club are offered bonus supplies of either a box of lancets, a box of syringes, or a glucose meter with each order

Charles Ray III Diabetes Association

Offers free insulin pumps and glucose meters and test strips when available. To qualify, patients must be uninsured or underinsured, have a household income of less than $60,000/year and have been recommended for insulin pump therapy by a physician. Application can be found here
