Underage drinking starts early in Franklin County–the average age of first use of alcohol here is 12 years old.

This video competition asks middle and high school students to use their voice, and tell us why.

With parental consent, participants will create a 10-15 second video answering this important question.  After uploading their submission and entry form, winners will be selected to be featured in a 60 second public service announcement ad that will run on Charter Spectrum channels all over Franklin County.

All participants will receive a free thank you gift and certificate, and winners will be presented with Academy Award style trophies.  We’ll also have a special award for the “people’s choice” winners.
