Position Title: Office Assistant

Location: Foundations for Franklin County Prevention Center, 3033 Highway A, Washington, MO

 

Position Description

The Office Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. This position involves providing administrative support to various departments, managing office tasks, and contributing to the goals of the organization. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic work environment.

 

This is a part-time in-person position.  Hours are Monday to Friday, 12:30pm – 5:00pm or 12:00pm-4:30pm.  Rate of pay: $16-$18 per hour, based on experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Administrative Support:

– Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document organization.

– Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail.

– Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences.

 

  1. Office Management:

– Maintain office supplies inventory and ensure all necessary materials are stocked.

– Ensure the cleanliness and organization of common areas.

 

  1. Record Keeping:

– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, databases, and files.

– Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations as needed.

 

  1. Support for Staff:

– Assist colleagues with various tasks and provide support to different departments as required.

– Collaborate with team members to enhance overall office efficiency.

 

  1. Customer Service:

– Welcome and assist visitors to the office in a friendly and professional manner.

– Respond to phone inquiries and provide information to clients, vendors, and staff.

 

Qualifications

 

– High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.

– Proven experience as an office assistant or in a related role.

– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

– Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

– Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
